Chicken Combo Plate

Lu’au Hawaiian BBQ is an awesome place if you are looking for a lot of food for pretty cheap. Compared to places like L&L, the quality of the food is not as great, but you get much more food for a lot less.

My boyfriend and I ordered their Chicken combo plate for $6.99. It comes with two pieces of BBQ chicken, two pieces of chicken katsu, rice and macaroni salad. First off this was almost double the food you would get at L&L. On top of that I am not a fan of macaroni salad, almost ever, but I actually enjoyed their’s. The flavor of their chicken and most of their sauces was not amazing, but also wasn’t bad either.

Another great deal Lu’au is offering is buy one chicken plate get one for 50% off. As crazy as their servings are that would be so much food for around $10.

Overall I did not think that Lu’au Hawaiian BBQ is by any means amazing food, but it is decent food, and you get a lot for a little. Would recommend trying if you are looking for a quick cheap bite and want a change from your usual fast food stops.
